Christian has been a terrific host. After 8 hours of driving in terrible weather, my reserved site at a nearby RV Park power had been out most of the day. She recommended Sunshine Oaks. I called, there was availability & Christian offered to follow him to the site. The bad weather continued and power was lost here too. However, I was safe, off the road & dry for a comfortable night.

Campground was easy to get to from interstate. We were able to get a pull-through which was nice. Campground was quiet and clean. Campground does have gravel road and gravel sites but that wasn’t a hindrance for us. We would stay here again. We camped at Sunshine Oaks RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We had pull through site 36 very spacious, they have a dog park, a pavilion, and upon request you can get a fire pit, bathroom/shower there’s a small but nice laundry room with 2 washers & 2 dryers that you book a time slot on the app (which is a great idea) the park is growing with more sites as your entering. We were welcomed by the manager. I will definitely come back. We camped at Sunshine Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel

Very nice park. Owner met us at the camper to pay. I could have paid online but didn’t. It’s a very new park. Not quite finished but when it is, it’ll be a keeper large sites. Lots of pull through sites.

My 5 stars review is based in the fact that we knew upfront that the place still under construction so it’s dusty or muddy depending on the weather. If this bothers you there’s no reason to go there and then place a bad review complaining about the construction situation. The price we paid is based on the week charge.

Now let’s go to why I think they deserve a 5 stars.

The campground is easy access coming from interstate 20 and just 15 minutes to Shreveport downtown. The sites are really large, easy to maneuver with brand new full hookups connections. There’s a small laundry and two bathrooms that are tiny but brand new and clean. The best of all was the WI-FI, the best signal we ever had on any campground. The owner was polite and always there to help with any questions.

The cons: the train pass just behind the campground but sincerely it didn’t bother me. I’m a rare person that don’t get bothered by train noise. They ask to book the laundry ahead of use, I never saw that before. You need to download the campground app to get access to Wi-Fi password, laundry schedule, etc
